Senior Boiler Technician
Description
A well established Mechanical Contractor and Heating Equipment Service company with offices in Westchester and Long Island are looking for Sr. Service Technicians to join their growing team of 30+ technicians.
Hourly wage + Door to door OT, excellent benefits, 401k, and company shares. Technicians are split up by area.
You will maintain and repair industrial boilers, and heat pumps in residential and commercial buildings throughout NYC.
Preform troubleshooting strategies to diagnose and repair Boilers and ancillary equipment.
Report to the customer and company as to results of troubleshooting.
Write a clean and concise report as to the troubleshooting. Any recommendations and follow up work.
Must be able to read and interpret a mechanical and wiring diagrams.
Familiar with the industries standard controls in flame safeguard, safeties and limits is a plus.
To present yourself as a representative of this company in a professional manor at all times.

Maintain a clean driving record, drive and work safely.
Job Requirements:
Must hold and maintain a valid driving license without restrictions.
Must be physically fit.
Company requires a drug screening and background check prior to employment. (at company's expense).
OSHA 30 and service technician certificate is required.
Must be versed in the OSHA rules as to safety for one's self and others.
Must have your own hand tools.
Company will provide "specialty tools" as it sees fit.
Must be versed in the use of hand and power tools.
The ability to perform some welding is a plus.
Previous experience in the industry is a plus.
Previous experience in machinery or other related fields
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
Ability to handle physical workload and lift up to 75lbs.
